I use those cymbals at basketball games with a pepband (Just look at my picture, same cymbals!)
Not a bad set, Loud, but decent. They have a nice sizzle sound. I think its always better to buy cymbals individually though. I am very happy with the cymbals that I use at home, which I bought separately. If you're going to spend 700 bucks, try going to a guitar center with a drum stick and hit every single cymbal they have. You may find some great combinations for even less than $700. I love Zildjian, but theres a lot of good cymbal companies out there.
The A Customs are definitely nice, but I agree that buying a package for $700 might be a little bit hasty without actually hearing the cymbals together. I've been a loyal Zildjian K/A guy for many years, but I've been very impressed with the new Sabian HH and HHX line.
