Really "trashy" sounding.

So i was considering buying the Zildjian A Custom Cymbal Pack which includes:
14" Hats
16" Crash
18" Crash
20" Medium Ride

Any thoughts or comments about these cymbals? Does anyone have any of these?

Oh and it includes a cymbal bag. All for $700

I use those cymbals at basketball games with a pepband (Just look at my picture, same cymbals!)

Not a bad set, Loud, but decent. They have a nice sizzle sound. I think its always better to buy cymbals individually though. I am very happy with the cymbals that I use at home, which I bought separately. If you're going to spend 700 bucks, try going to a guitar center with a drum stick and hit every single cymbal they have. You may find some great combinations for even less than $700. I love Zildjian, but theres a lot of good cymbal companies out there.

The A Customs are definitely nice, but I agree that buying a package for $700 might be a little bit hasty without actually hearing the cymbals together.

I've been a loyal Zildjian K/A guy for many years, but I've been very impressed with the new Sabian HH and HHX line.

I could probably make some recommendations if you give me some info about your drumming.

1. What styles of music do you play?
2. What kind of drum set do you have?
3. Are you recording?

One particular cymbal that I had on my acoustic kit was the 16" Paiste fast crash signature series and I thought that sound was close to the best I had ever heard..very expensive cymbal at that time..

1. I mostly play rock/pop in that area
2. I have a PDP FS Series 5 piece kit. It is an all birch, fusion size kit. Right now, the cymbals I have are kinda crappy: All Zildjian- ZBT 16" Crash (decent), 13" Planet Z Hats, 20" Planet Z Ride, and I have a couple splashes but I'm more concerned about the main cymbals for me.
3. I am not recording
