What im looking for is,
Paranoid by Black Sabbath

Hi Kate Oz,

Thanks for the link. (I like Nirvana too!) I've tried looking around for this type of site but are very hard to find.......for me anyway.

My dad told me that I should ask about starting a "drum notation section" just like the drumless backing tracks since they seem so hard to find.

My dad found this one for me tonight.

thanks again! smile

You're welcome. I went to the site you suggested and they seem to have some good ones too. Printed off Come Together & Let It Be. Didn't realise they also call them beat sheets. Trouble is the notation is different to what I am used to. It might help with me listening and identifying the drums.

Anyway, I am at the point where I want to start trying to write the sheet music for some slooooowwwwww songs with goods obvious 4/4 drum beats.

Any suggestions, please.

Thanks. Off to enjoy the weekend here in Aus & have lesson in the morning. Been a bit lazy where practice is concerned.

Catch you soon.

Kate Oz

I have got a book on order call The Art of Transcribing Drum Set by Alan Schechner (Mel Bay Publications). It is a book and CD. I will let you know what I think of it after I have got it and tried it out.

Regards, Kate Oz
