Hey Guys, my name is Jonathan and I've been playing drums for just over 2 years now.

I practice every day for, at the least, half an hour. I enjoy many different stlyes of druming, such as:

Metal
Hip-hop
Funk
Progressive Metal/Rock
Punk
Pop
Rap Rock
Electric (I'm also into DJ'ing)

My kit is a pearl forum series, a brief outline of it is:

14" hi-hat
18" crash-ride
20" medium ride
snare drum
hi-tom
mid-tom
low-tom
floor-tom
bass drum
Pearl eliminator double bass pedal

I visited the site once and it's already in my top bookmark spot! I hope people on here are supportive, because it's always nice to know that there are other like-minded people. So yeah, I'll be around.

Hi folks.

Firstly, thanks to MJS for this superb site which I stumbled across (thankfully) by luck!!

My friends call me Pablo (it's the cleanest knickname I've ever had!!) and I've been playing the tubs for roughly 25 years. Unfortunately, a car accident put paid to my ambitions some years ago. So now, if I play for more than twenty minutes, I'm on my back for a week!!! But I'd rather have twenty minute bursts than nothing at all!!

I've had the good fortune to play with some great local bands here in the West Midlands, England and some really talented musicians.

My first love is rock. I'm from the old school and grew up listening to AC/DC, Marillion, Rush, Whitesnake, Iron Maiden and the like.

My drum heroes are Cozy Powell (RIP), Neil Peart, Ian Moseley, Mickey Barker and Pete Jupp amongst others.

Again, thanks for this great site and I'll be sure to be a regular visitor.

Pablo.

So it all started when my son got Rock Band last Christmas. At 8 years old within 3 months he was completing all the songs save a few on expert (not perfect). Went down to the local music shop for a test lesson. Almost a year later, he is really getting into it and progressing. Thing is, I sit through all the lessons and have decided, it might be interesting if i learned to play too. I am starting to go through all of his lessons and will ensure we get full value from the kit I have invested in for him. Wish us luck.

By the way the site is awesome and part of my inspiration,, especially the fdrumless tracks. Thanks
